Tailored interior design
Before a house or apartment is renovated or remodeled, a well-thought-out plan or design is essential. An interior designer is often hired at this point. To properly design a space, I need clear photos, possibly a short video, and, of course, the correct dimensions. It’s always helpful if I can visit the location, but it’s absolutely not required.
Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor space, I’m happy to help you transform it into a pleasant, functional space where you feel completely at home.
Kalimera Kalyves Apartment, Crete
Design of the apartment
The entire apartment was yellow, green and dated. It needed a fresher, beachy feel with a modern and comfortable look. By opting for crisp white and a sand-colored accent on the walls and ceilings, you already have a beautiful foundation. Add a warm wood color, blue accents like in the curtains, and a comfortable sofa that can also be used as a bed, and the holiday apartment gets a completely different look.

Design of the whole house
From the initial sketch for the house with the layout, to the color scheme, furniture selection, and complete finishing touches, I created everything. The architect had designed the pool as a rectangle, but I created an L-shape with a shallow area for relaxing. I discussed all the details with the builder’s architect, and that’s how everything was ultimately implemented.

The client wanted a more modern apartment with more warmth and functionality. They wanted more storage space in both the bathroom and the living room/kitchen. They also wanted the option of adding a table in the living room, which wasn’t possible with the current layout. I designed a folding table attached to the kitchen countertop for this. For the bathroom, I created two options: one offers significantly more storage space, while the other features a larger shower.
There’s also a storage room in the basement, which needs to be converted into an extra bedroom with a shower, sink, and toilet for when the client has guests. Given the limited space available, this was quite a challenge, but we managed to pull it off.
The contractor has just started the renovation, so you can see the photos of the design below.
House in Vasiliana, Crete
In- & exterior design
To show a potential buyer what this house could look like after renovation, I was asked to create a few simple sketches. For example, I was asked to envision a swimming pool with garden seating and a railing on an outdoor staircase to the upper floor. To further enhance the house, a large extension needed to be converted into an ensuite bedroom. The potential buyer is convinced, and the renovation will begin soon. I’ll add new photos as soon as it’s finished.
